Geology of Baxter State Park - Wednesday, January 14, 7-8pm Please join us for a webinar on the fascinating geology of Baxter State Park. Our presenter will be Lindsay Theis of the Maine Geological Survey. Since 2016, Lindsay has been creating maps of surficial (glacial) geology deposits in Maine and researching landslide hazards.

NEW BSP Reservation System: An Insiders Update - Wednesday, January 21, 7-8pm - An insiders look at the changes that have been made to the BSP reservations system from guest speakers Bryan Buhler, Park Services Manager, and Lori Morrison, Director of Administrative Services. The changes to the online reservation portal aim to improve visitors’ experience make access to camping at Baxter State Park more equitable.

Fossils with Tzevi Aho - Wednesday, February 11, 7-8pm - We hope you will join us for a webinar focusing on the fossils of Baxter State Park – including Pertica quadrifaria, a globally important fossil discovered in the Trout Valley Formation. Our presenter will be Tzevi Aho, former Baxter State Park Interpretive Intern.

Climate Impacts on Alpine Plants - Wednesday, March 11, 7-8pm - Join us for a webinar focusing on the climate impacts on alpine plants with Nava Tabak, Natural Resource Director at Baxter State Park, and Andrea Tirrell, PhD candidate at University of Maine Orono.

Preparing For a Katahdin Hike - Thursday, April 30, 7-8pm - Come learn how to prepare for a Katahdin climb! We will cover logistics, safety and risk management, trail choices, and weather. We will also do a comprehensive gear review and provide a packing list for spring, summer, and fall trips. There will be plenty of time for questions. Our presenter will be Aaron Megquier, Executive Director of FBSP and Registered Maine Guide.
