Webinar: Loving the North Woods with Author Karin Tilberg

Please join us on Wednesday, April 16th at 7:00 pm for a webinar interview with author Karin Tilberg about her new book, Loving The North Woods: 25 Years of Historic Conservation in Maine.

In Loving the North Woods
, Karin focuses on the remarkable period of conservation in Maine from 1990 to 2015. During this time, many historic achievements in American conservation unfolded in Maine's north woods. With her signature wisdom and thoughtfulness – and many fascinating, previously untold stories – Karin explores how people love a place and bring that love into action.

Karin will be interviewed by Friends Board member Jerry Bley, who has been working in conservation in Maine for more than 40 years and was involved in many of the projects described in Karin's book.

Friends is proud to offer Loving the Maine Woods for sale in our online store.  Anyone who lives, works, or recreates in the Maine woods will find Karin's book, and this webinar, to be highly informative and inspiring.
