Celebrate our 21st Anniversary

Our 21st Anniversary Celebration is Going Virtual

Given the recent surge in Covid-19 cases in Maine and the heightened risks posed by the delta variant, we made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person event at Maple Hill Farm and host a virtual gathering on September 9 instead. We are very disappointed to not be able to gather in person, but we know that this is the right decision for the safety of our members.

Our virtual Anniversary Celebration will be from 6:00 to 7:30pm on September 9. Please register via Zoom to attend our virtual celebration:

Event Details

We will gather virtually on the evening of September 9, 2021 to honor our past and celebrate the future of our forever wild mission. Our Presidents will tell the story of Friends of Baxter State Park over the past 21 years, offering highlights, anecdotes, and gratitude to our founding members for their vision.

We are honored to announce that Maine Governor Janet T. Mills is planning to offer recorded remarks during the program.

Many thanks to our committees:
