After 5 summers in the BYCC I've taken part in numerous trail work activities as well as online tasks like building the new Friends of Baxter State Park's website. My work on the website pertains to the sections of, Climbing Katahdin and Hiking. Here I was able to input my knowledge and experience as well as source directly from Baxter State Park, to give viewers a detailed experience of what to expect during these activities. I enjoyed all of my time in the BYCC and hope my work can live on for years to come.

Jake Kowalski - I have been with Friends of Baxter State Park for 5 years now in the BYCC and have worked not only in the park with trail building but now taking photos and videos and sharing knowledge on our website. I’m currently studying Digital Media at Liberty University in Virginia and plan on working in the outdoor action sports field filming my passions such as skiing, hiking, and traveling.
