“Everything is changing, but to use Governor Baxter’s words, ’The mountain will be there forever’ … What I think would be useful to explore today is…the economic and the social environment we find ourselves in. As everything else is changing…the Park is the unchanging fixture. That said, of course there are changes in the Park, and those changes are in the ecology.”
