The annual Sign Auction is open for bidding.

Our annual sign auction is a special opportunity to bring home a part of our beloved Baxter State Park! In partnership with the Park, we auction off a variety of retired trail signs every year. This year’s auction includes 20 signs from favorite spots like Hamlin Ridge, the Helon Taylor Trail, and Sandy Stream Pond. You may have hiked by some of these signs during your own adventures in the Park over the years – perhaps a few are even in the background of your family photos!

Every one of these signs is authentic and unique. Many of them have been weathered by the elements, scratched and chewed by wildlife, leaned on by tired hikers, and faded by the summer sun. You can check out all 20 signs on the auction website. We may add additional special items to the auction over the coming weeks – check back often to see!

Friends will donate 50% of the auction proceeds directly to Baxter State Park, and 50% will support our programs. The auction opened for bidding at 10:00 a.m. this morning and closes at 10:00 p.m. EST on December 1.
