Come learn how to prepare for a Katahdin climb! We will cover logistics, safety and risk management, trail choices, and weather. We will also do a comprehensive gear review and provide a packing list for spring, summer, and fall trips. There will be plenty of time for questions. Our presenter will be Aaron Megquier, Executive Director of FBSP and Registered Maine Guide.

• Anyone who has climbed Katahdin once or twice, but wants to gain more experience

• Anyone who will be climbing with first-time Katahdin hikers in their party
