ANNUAL MEETING

Each spring Friends of Baxter State Park holds a gathering to celebrate accomplishments, enjoy presentations, eat scrumptious food, meet new Friends, find out the latest developments, and share our experiences in the Park with each other.

Join us for 2015 Annual Meeting will be held on Saturday, April 11th at Viles Arboretum, 156 Hospital St, Augusta.  Coffee and muffins will be served at 8:30 am and the meeting starts at 9 am. The presentations will include Park Director Jensen Bissell on the State of the Park; Botanist/author Glen Mittelhauser with a sneak preview of the Plants of Baxter State Park Guidebook & Database; Executive Director Aaron Megquier on recent activities of Friends of Baxter State Park and a preview of the 2016 Calendar photos. We will also feature artwork by BSP visiting artist, Nora West and books for sale. The meeting will be followed by lunch and an optional guided group hike at nearby Woodbury Preserve.

Here are some highlights from the 2014 Annual Meeting.
