This year the MYWLP will be held August 7-15, 2010 at Baxter State Park
Enjoy a week of hiking and camping in Baxter State Park
Meet experienced, capable, interesting wilderness leaders
Hear great stories and experiences from a Park ranger
Recreate on beautiful remote lakes and ponds in the Park
Make new friends from around the state who also love the outdoors
Learn about the park—its geology, its wild plants, its wild places
Experience wilderness camping—Leave No Trace, packing for wilderness trips, cooking in the wilderness, safety precautions, preparations for back country camping
Learn to take nature photographs to share with friends, family
AND MORE!!
Deadline for applications is Feb. 15, 2010
